  1. Have you kicked it, or even jumped on it yet? It might make you feel better. So what went wrong? Maybe if you just walk away and then come back later it might not seem so bad...

Word verification is "shicker" - would that be a cool swear word or what? Is it shickered?

  3. oh, ohhh, you can rescue it, we know you can ♥

  4. Oh no!! Maybe you should leave it in a dark cupboard and come back to it another day. Were there tears? Hair tearing? I can't even fathom making a pair of pants..let alone a suit. phew...

  5. Oh no! Putting things away for a few days always helps. Especially if you lie awake all night trying to figure out how to fix the problem, and cursing your bad luck.

  6. I agree with the other ladies comments. If you go away for a few days it may not looks so bad when you get to it. I am sure you will be able to fix it!

  7. If you really have, like after you've left a few days, then I think it would make a delightful rag ruglet (and you get all the scissor therapy action as a bonus).

  8. Damn! Give it 24 hours...something may happen!

  9. Don't worry lovely. A laptop bag made out of suit material would be uber-cool. And maybe a matching fedora!!! Tee hee.

  10. Oh no, indeed! Yes, I recommend time outs for the bad suit. And suit material is good for so many other things, if you really can't save it.

Sendy good crafty vibes your way!

  13. Now let me see .... that wasn't that you have fabbed it up, right?

In the immortal words of the Fab Four:
There's nothing you can make that can't be made.
No suit you can save that can't be saved.
Nothing that is cut that can't be sewn back on - its easy.

Ahem, well, maybe not always that easy. But we all have faith in you!!!

    Back away from the scissors.

  18. Too late for shorts and vest? Fingers crossed smooths over. What every happens you'll still have the material, and all of us waiting with biated breath to devour what ingenious idea you came up with next.

  19. Breathe. It's okay. gee, a suit - to wear in public, at a gig, big ask!!
You never know, these girls are feeling confident and have got some good alternative solutions. I haven't. I think you were brave for trying!!

  20. I don't believe you've shickered Mr's gig suit. I'm confident you'll come up with a way of fixing it, Nik. Looks good so far with the chunky zip and black patch on the top pocket.

  21. Oh dear. How bad can it be? What kind of band is the man in.. maybe it won't matter?

  22. I don't believe you. You always seem to end up with something wonderful...even if it wasn't your original idea.

  25. oh bugger! I'm hoping after a little time in a corner to allow the suit to reflect on its behaviour, it will be far more amenable to your overtures with sharp implements! (and failing that, I have been known to make kick@ss pirate outfits from old suits...whether or not hubby wants to be Blackbeard for his performance is another matter though...)

  26. Oh my. Are you sure? Is there no way you can fix this? I am sure you can. Just kick it into a corner for a little while, catch your breath and then look at it again. Knowing how creative you are I am sure you'll find a way to... *insert Tim Gunn* .. make it work!

  27. Ooops! Shouldn't LOL but can't help it. Hope you have a miraculous resurection soon!
