Squeak squeak

On a quiet Saturday night, this little mouse found it's way to my house. Because the sewing machine does not create the right ambiance when watching a movie, this little guy was made out of felt and sewn by hand.

He is one of the wonderful creations that come from the mind of Ms Ric Rac. A BIG thanks to Jodie for the pattern.

I use to collect mice things when I was younger. My mum even gave in and got me pet mice. I need to sit down and do some serious hand sewing... It always fills my soul with happiness... better than machine sewing!!

I would be happy to have this mouse in my house :)

Very nice and even hand stitching as well!

Oh, Nikki, he's adorable. I hope you make him a mate soon - or maybe a big piece of swiss cheese! I'm working my way through the must-do lists so some felt and hand-sewing might just find their way into my house, sometime soon... when we get more sleep of course!

I admit a sweet little dude like that made it to the top of my to do list as soon as Jodie posted - which is saying something since I once sat almost-paralysed on a couch for five hours in a European city while throwing torn up pieces of a TV guide at a dying mini mouse. Ew.

Yep that is the only sort of mouse I want to see in my house .

There is nothing "rodenty" about this little mouse. Too cute for words!

Totally sweeet little mousie. I adore Ric-Rac Jodie's work too! I hate to say it but many a real mousies have met their demise by my hand. Perhaps I should create an army of mouses for the house in their remembrance.

Not with a fox, not on a box, not in the rain, not on a train. I do not like green eggs and ham I do not like them Sam I am.
But wait..
I could, I would eat them with this mouse and I would let him in my house as he is made of felt of the sheepish kind and unlikely to leave something nasty behind!
Peta (sleep deprived and a bit odd today)! xo
